Monday week 4

I feel like i'm overtraining and i'm tight. I need to start doing some serious stretching along with GPP work and resting from weights. I'll probably do that after I stall out, and that's going to be real soon.

Close squats
115
145
175
205
235 all +2

Omg these were overkill, i actually turned red on the 235 poundage. It started scaring me of how hard I will push myself to finish something.

Bench
95
115
135
155
175 all +2

Overkill too...I was so tired from squats and i went to bench and only got 4 reps on 175. rested for 10 seconds and pushed the last rep up very slowly.

Rows
70
85
100
115
130

easier than the rest, almost didn't get the last rep last set.

Well, i'm pissed. I'm about 10 to 5 pounds under the rest of all my maxes for these lifts. and I'm about to stall. what the hell gives??? I must be overtraining or at the very least overreaching, there can't be any other explanation as to why i can't even reach my maxes....right?

Time for a lifestyle change, My main goal at the moment is to get my systolic pressure lower (at 140 right now), maintain? my Diatolic pressure (76 I think), and lower my heart beat rate per minute, it's at 90 to 91 in the morning and 86 on the machine at nighttime. Resting for a while, staying away from anything unhealthy, and drinking less milk unless saturated fat doesn't have anything to do with it.

stats as of right now:
212lbs
140 systolic
76 diastolic
90bmp upon wakeup
86 bmp according to machine at night
6'1, body fat unknown, probably around 17, 18%?
Fat, out of shape, wannabe powerlifter right now. I'm going to chart my progress on here how well I can lower my Systolic and BMP to a normal level along with recovering from overtraining.

Tomorrow I will recheck my blood pressure to make sure it's that high...

GPP workout

I did 2 sets of javoreks #1 complex:
upright rows x6
snatches from thigh x6
back squat into press x6
normal rows x6
snatches from floor x6

First set was with 75 pounds on the bar and felt like it was too much weight for just a gpp/active recovery workout. So I dropped it down to 65 pounds. First time I did a snatch too lol. Thursday, I'm staying at 65 pounds, doing it slower, and doing 3 sets.

I decided i'm going to do Rippetoe's scheme

3x5 squats 175
3x5 bench 145
1x5 dead 205
abs
dips

Today I also bathed in 2 cups of epsom salts which become your best friend for recovery lol. i'll probably do them once or twice a week. I'm also getting my diet in check.

Thursday

GPP workout
Javorek Barbell Complex #1 3 sets

I went slower this time but omg i was winded as hell. I'm also really sore too.

Alright! Keep up the hardwork! 212 @ 6'1 doesn't seem too large to me, but maybe just tone up a little, and clean the diet up? Good choice on the bar complex's for cardio.

Thank you! Well i'm not real fat or anything, just have that beer belly look. I'm definately cleaning up my diet right now, I think it's real good, and i'll just add or lower carbs for the weight gain/fat loss thing. Javorek's bar complexes are great! I'm only using 65 pounds on the bar, but goddamn that's a cardio workout.
