I think it is inappropriate for her to do this on YOUR day....Talk to her and let her know how you feel about it. She's probably excited and wants everyone to know, but didn't realize how you might not feel this is appropriate.

first of all congrats, i hope the day is perfect for you, your future husband, and all of your guests. just remember to get a good night sleep the nite before and go to the bathroom before you put on your dress.

as for your sister i agree with all the other ladies. and if she gets upset and can't understand why she should wait, then it really does show she is not mature enough to get married.

As soon as I got into work today I emailed my sister and said that I'd rather they ask my dad that another day. I knew that she'd either be fine with it or have a hissy fit. Thankfully it was the first. She said that she didn't want to make me worry about that.

Today was wild. I called to get a final confirmation with my baker and she's screwed up my cheesecake order. So she wasn't willing to make any of the 3 varieties of cheesecakes we had planned. I was really upset but decided that things happen for a reason so I contacted a little local shop I keep hearing rave reviews about on the wedding message boards. I got to pick from 170 varieties of cheesecake! 170! I placed the order today, they were awesome to me. Now I'm worry free again!

It's been sunny and in the 70's for almost a week and it's supposed to be in the 30-40's with possible snow on our wedding. So now it's going to be inside instead of outside. I'm finally starting to feel some stress therefore I'm just going along with things as they happen. If I wasn't willing to be flexible I'd be hysterical by now!

Good to hear your sister took it well. That's the last thing you need is family stress right before your wedding. It'll all work out wonderfully!
Those cheesecakes look delicious! 170 flavours? I'd be in heaven! What flavours did you choose?
Snow already? Where you at that it's gonna snow so soon? We usually have snow by Hallowe'en around here. Just thinking of snow makes me shiver! Hopefully I'll be heading South soon!
