16/hr is setting the bar low? Youre fucking hilarious, you are right about not knowing my adequate pay. I dont need a lot of money, lifes not about money to me sorry.

I actually think its pretty cool that shes 19, i wouldnt want an old hag like you that just bitches and thinks she is the shit. I wouldnt train someone like your husband because hes the kind of asshole that would judge everything i do and take life so god damn serious and probably ask me these stuid ass questions!

What goals are you talking about? Any goal and I will be able to help them, its not fucking rocket science. Really its not. Name a specific goal and ill tell you how to get there. High blood pressure? Thats not a goal thats a symptom that isnt going to affect the way i train them. Changing their diet and havign them exercise will lower it. Simple as that, im not a fucking doctor im a trainer. You want meds for BP go to your doctor. Thats what I would say

God forbid one of your clients would want to

A) Learn

or

B) Make sure their body is in good hands.

What did autistic people do before the internet?

lololololol

grump would be great to train.

put him on a 5x5 and hes already on HRT i believe.

get his diet tweaking and let him drink moderately one day a week max.

he would be getting cut as shit.

How is my husband an asshole?

I told you his SPECIFIC LIMITATIONS. How would you train him and why should he hire YOU and not the other trainers at your gym?

What goals am I talking about? I told you his problems and why he came to seek out a personal trainer in the first place. Is that not specific enough?

OK - I will type it slow.

He is 58. Is overweight. He has had a lifetime of high blood pressure - even when he was a young man who was in otherwise good health and very active. But now he has high cholesterol too.

He has one knee that was blown out by a landmine flashette, then after it was put back together he got the knee cap blown off by a round. (Yes, that means bullet) He can't raise either of his hands above his head due to:

shrapnel

previous dislocations

overuse injuries due to improper instruction from wieght-
training coach in high school and competitive swimming, also was an ocean lifeguard

He also has a bullet permanently lodged in his back close to his L2 vertebrae. This bullet tore through his side and lodged in his back.

He also had one of his biceps shot up.

Every single one of these injuries happened when he was just about your age.

So now HOW WOULD YOU APPROACH TRAINING HIM?

As for me being your boss, that would never happen. You do not have the skill set I require my employees to possess. And no, you don't NEED a college degree. And Yes, I have and do regularly hire people with records.

Not a personal slight, just stating facts. :)

My husband is a royal pain in the ass because he doesn't listen. LOL

Aside from that HE CANT LIFT WEIGHTS. So what would "the experts" recommend.

PS - In case ya'll missed the thread where for the first time since he was a young man his blood pressure (and now cholesterol) are NORMAL WITHOUT MEDS?!?!

I already know the answers to my questions as I have been advising/training him since we got married nearly 3 years ago. :) I just wanted to see what the wannabee experts came up with.... and as you can see iggy... so far they come up with BUBKISS.

Is grumpy old man bikini moms husband?

god forbid one of my clients would listen to me if he wanted to learn, otherwise why the fuck is he looking for a personal trainer?

god forbid like im gonna put these guys in a wheelchair or something like wtf do you think im gonna do to this guy? Make him work out so hard he has a stroke? WTF?

This post made ZERO sense.

MY HUSBAND IS PHYSICALLY INCAPABLE OF LIFTING WEIGHTS BECAUSE OF HIS SEVERELY DAMAGED JOINTS. SO HOW EXACTLY WOULD YOU TRAIN HIM SMART GUY?

An incompetent bobo such as yourself could very easily make his already damaged joints become TOTALLY useless. I am thinkin that is pretty severe. Don't you?

This is the most absurd fucking post ive ever read. First of all obviously i wont get 100% of my clients to agree with me, im only 21. He might look for someone older obviously.

That being said once again you take the most fucking extreme example. WHo the fuck am i gonna train that

- lifetime high blood pressure
-no knee cap
-cant raise his hands over his head
-a bullet in his lower back
-a blown up bicep

seriously? get real lady. I would probably see what motions hurt him, so i can see what he can and cant do and what exercises he can do. He wants to lose weight, does he want to build muscle? Or just stay toned?

blood pressure will drop due to diet and exercise. if he is overweight he is simply one of the many lost people in the US that dont give a fuck how they look. So simple, eat less and the right foods. Exercise

obviously wouldnt put him on squats/deadlifts. Would see how his back handles to bending forward, back, left right. no lat pulldowns, maybe cable rows.

seriously im just having fun with this because this will never fucking happen, and if it does once in a blue moon ill simply say i cant train you

He is a veteran of the Vietnam war dude, like many other veterans who were injured in combat. He acquired these injuries when HE WAS YOUR AGE.

HE CAN'T LIFT WEIGHT PERIOD. WHAT PART OF THAT DIDN'T YOU UNDERSTAND? SO HOW WOULD YOU TRAIN HIM?

I have tried to tell you gazillion times that the majority of my clients were JUST LIKE HIM - diabetic, kidney disease, broken necks, broken backs, obese and weakened to the point where they could not support their own weight long enoug to walk more than a few moments, hell the guy was so hyuge he could not fit into most of the equipment.

You gonna tell 70% of your clients to "fuck off" because they are "too hard for you to figure out how to train"?

BTW - I trained him properly and successfully. He has dropped significant bodyfat and has NORMAL blood pressure/cholesterol WITHOUT medication.

You had ample opportunity to demonstrate what you know in this thread and failed to do so every single time.

But I did enjoy the thread. Brought a little levity to my day.

Old hag? LMFAO... Was that THE BEST you could do?

i would start him out with tons of daily stretching/other ways to strengthen his muscles. eventually move on to basketball/swimming if its possible he can. or even cycling.

the only problem is if i had clients, i wouldn't let them quit pushing themselves until they achieved what they want to achieve.

if there is a will, theres a way
