OK here i go

"No carb" is essentially the Atkins Diet. It is completely miserable. Your brain needs carbs to run on. You can do it for a period of time and you will lose weight - initially water weight because carbs require water to hold them. No carbs, you dump the water. However that isn't really what you are after - you want to lose bodyfat. And you also cant' maintain a no carb diet over a long period of time and as soon as you introduce them back in, you gain it back.

Shadow's project is a great do-able way to start. If a diet is miserable you just simplly won't stick with it. Its supposed to be part of your life style.

Ive been on and off diets all my life and gone from calorie counting to watching fat intake
and i think this is wayyyy different
Im gonna study shadows plan and see what i can do

As for the supps on Shadow's plan -- you don't have to take them all...tweak to what you can take, if any....

As Bunny said....you don't have to follow Shadow's plan to a T -- substitutions can be made -- I made a LOT of subs & still did well....

And as Sassy said -- you need some carbs to be healthy. When I did NO carbs on Atkins I felt like shit & when I introduced them back in, I got the shits....sorry to be graphic. With your "situation" I don't think you need any more issues with that than necessary......

Start making some small changes -- post up what you eat & we'll help you make the right choices. THIS IS NOT A DIET!! It's eating for health & optimum performance of your body. You wouldn't drive your car with no water or radiator fluid would you??

Ok girl you're going to have to give us your weight and BF% if you know it.

You should have probably had something like this though.

1/3C or 1/2 C oatmeal
5 egg whites
1 whole egg
 
Plan your meal schedule ahead of time. Look at Shadow's plan for guidance. Probably include some carb w/ your first meal -- e.g. oatmeal.
 
like 1/2 cup with splenda?
ok eating with a bit of carbs will be easier than no carbs......just the right carbs right?
 
At least your partner is eating the same way. When I'm low carbing it kills me that my husband is eating ice cream, crackers, and the like.

I'll cheer you on all the way girly. ;)
 
ok here is my plan for the evening meal
3-4 chicken breasts baked
1/2 cup of french style green beans
and at least 16 oz water

can i add or take from that somehow?
