Numbness and Pain

I researched the archives and was surprised how many guys have the same problem as I do.

http://www.elitefitness.com/forum/showthread.php?t=506763&highlight=numbness

Mine started 3 weeks ago. First my hand was numb when I woke up. Then it was my entire arm up to my shoulder. Felt like it was play doh. Now I am having trouble getting any sleep at all. It is painful now and my thumb and pointer finger have that tingling feeling all day long. Feels like what I would imagine carpal tunnel feeling like. After reading all the posts, I am assuming it is due to rapid weight gain, elevated blood pressure, and swelling. My watch and wedding ring fit really tight. I am on 2 iu's hgh, 500 wk Sustanon, 300 wk Deca, arimidex, and AIFM. Just started my sixth week. My question is what did all you guys do about it? I'm planning on just living with it as one of the prices you pay to grow. Just wondered if anybody had any luck relieving it at all. Thanks.

Perhaps slightly thicker blood from AAS use (due to inreased RBC) makes it easier to restrict circulation to your extremeties in certain situations that used to not make a difference..

i know a few people using gh who have told me they get numbness in their fingers. seems to be a common side effect. most people either just live with it, or stop using it.

I have had to suspend my AIFM usage for two weeks now, because of soreness in all of my joints,

For example, my right arm

My hand, wrists, elbow and shoulder are all killing me, so my arm feels numb.

Going to go at least another week without it and hopefully recover completely.

I get this extremely bad w/ dbol. My last cycle it got so bad I went to the doc and he did nerve tests on me. You are very close in the assumtion that thats what carpal tunnel feels like because thats exactly what it is. My left hand was worse that the right and needed immediate surgery. I know what you are going thru. Ibuprophen before bed helps a little otherwise cleaning your system of the aas is the only answer oh by the way is it worse when you work tri's? Hope this helps some.

increased intra and extra cellular water, causing nerve impingement.

increase potassium
lower sodium
increase magnesium
calcium this one depends, try adjusting both up and down.

drop the nandrolone or GH, both cause extracellular fluid retention that aromatase inhibitors cannot help with.

are you doing cardio? if not adding cardio will help. (increasing insulin sensitivity)
also glucorell may help (at least with some of the GH sides insulin blunting effects)

exact impacts of both of these have not been well studied and GH blunts insulin sensitivity at a post IR site, so how much impact either will have is somewhat theoretical (though anecdotal evidence is good that they do offset at least some, if not most of the insulin blunting effects)

Yeah, it is worse after tri's and biceps. I had a massage on the shoulder for about an hour Tuesday. Since someone had suggested it. It was actually one of the worst nights I have had. Weird stuff, very frustrating.
