Hi, In my state I may enter the contest August 14th
the NPC rules say no dream tan, I am new and this is my first contwest... So what do I use? They said just light oil but some of the guys I saw last year had something on ... I just dont want to cheat lor get a DQ in front lof everyone and use it anyway as some have adbvised.

So if not dream tan, what do I do before the show?

i dont understand the rule. is it just no dream tan? or is it no artificial tans of any kind.

if you cant use any fake tan then tan up good and just use oil.

Hey Bro. I am sure they just mean Dream Tan. Hotels have been complaining for years about the mess dream tan makes on the sheets and in the bathrooms and on the hotel towels.. Everything you touch gets the color on it. It works great on stage but is a pain in the ass off. PRO TAN has been around for years and works very well. Just do a google and you can find it. I would also call who is in charge of the show and confirm it is just Dream Tan that they are banning. GOOD LUCK.

HOW DO YOU guys apply this i was gonna wash body up ( started shaving already so i have no cuts or whatever) should i do it night before or the day of the show?
* Also how do I avoid that weird dark tan face i hate that i would rather not have super dark face and most books i read the judges dont like it... should i just over tan the face last week and add a little or what?

They dont allow dream tan because it rubs off every where. You can still use self tanner products like pro tan, jantana etc

That stuff can be messy. Good advice.

It would be nice if they banned all artificial tanning products. Most often the look acheived is just silly and fully worthy of the ridicule they recieve for it.

edit: Well...I realize they need some colour so they don't get washed out under the lights, but I don't think uber dark makes it better. They should get penalized (and possibly laughed at by the judges...out loud) for stupid looking fake tans.
