I am currently trying to drop bodyfat. I admit I don't know too much about diet, am currently trying to learn more, here is what I am currently doing, any constructive advice is greatly appreciated

Morning: Protein shake with 2 scoops whey, flax oil, and 1/2 cup of oatmeal
Lunch: Chicken sandwhich and fruit or veg
Afternoon: 1 can Tuna and veg
Pre-wokout: some type of carb (either whole wheat bread or oatmeal)
Post workout: Whey shake with 2 scoops protein
Before Bed: Some protein, what ever i can find

Yeah I know its nots the best, but gotta start somewhere, Again any and all input is helpful
thanks!!!!

A far as stats, I am 26 6'3" 245 not sure about bf%, last time i had it checked it was 19% bodyfat, but that was several months ago and I think I have lost some bf since then.

Definitely keep the shake post workout - add dextrose or maltodextrin to it.

What is the overall breakdown of that diet - ie. how many carbs, fat, protein and how many total cals? That's really important for here, as I'd say you are way undereating just guessing, as you seem to be avoiding fats..

yes, yes, yes. we need to know cals, and the breakdown. and post workout is the best time to consume whey because of how quickly it is digested, goes straight to the muscles. you would be better off eating protein in the morning that isn't whey for this same reason. i usually take down a few eggs and some oatmeal. and like stated above, you probably aren't eating enough. good fats are very important for muscle building and fat burning. as are lean proteins. egg whites, eggs, chicken breast, nf cottage cheese, xtra lean ground beef, are all good proteins. good fats= avacadoes, nuts, low fat cheeses, olives, olive oil.

Good stuff. I would add casein shake + fish oil before bed. Eat more vegetables, perhaps brocolli or baby spinach w/ olive oil [easy to make]. Also, eat a piece of fruit the secon you wake up, then make some oats/eggs ects.
