The Fitness World is now well aware of the arrival of Nitric Oxide (NO2) and its ability to induce acute vaso-dialating and subsequent pump-inducing effects. Once considered merely experimentally testable, NO2 has now joined the ranks of the widely effective, as its results are instant and beyond observable. As I suspected and theorized, the repeated influx of a vaster volume of nutrient rich and oxygenated blood to trained muscle will inevitably create an anabolic anti-catabolic environment.
Dissimilar from its predecessors, HFR, the miracle topical NO2 gel provides the benefits of targeted delivery…a sniper approach to elegantly defying your NO2’s target. “Miracle” may seem like too strong a word for most, however, I chose this adjective because HFR has made the improbable, possible. I’ve discovered a benefit of HFR application that’s amazingly impactful, yet has remained hidden…even from its creators…until now!
The occurrence to which I refer is a solution to the enigma of the mind to muscle connection…a prerequisite for maximal motor-unit recruitment in type IIb (fast-twitch) muscle. I have detailed files that indicate a lack of this neural linkage is often responsible for the poor (and sometimes, non-existent) development in those areas we just can’t seem to “feel” when we train them. The teres-major (just above the lats), the lower traps and lats, outer calf and hamstrings are notorious for this ailment, hence, the obvious underdevelopment in the aforementioned areas in most bodybuilders.
Here’s where HFR becomes invaluable! Magnetic Resonance Imagery (M.R.I.) indicates that sensations resulting from impact or touch induce higher levels of contraction in muscle, due to increased recruitment of area fibers. Since HFR induces a very noticeable sensation, compounded with feelable vaso-dialation, your brain is now able to PRECISELY IDENTIFY your target. Applying this “homing device” topically seems a lot more politically correct, than having your trainer fondle you during each rep!
The role of neural correction in strength, speed, power (key factors in effective training) is not to be taken lightly. Consider this:
v Mind altering narcotics induce dangerous levels of motor-unit recruitment, leading to destructive (yet impressive) feats of power.
v Super-human feats of bravery have been attributed to hyper-adrenal activity.
v Afflictions that decrease circulation and thus, sensation, often lead to atrophy in the affected body part or body parts. This condition is also evident in neural related dystrophies, which makes me wonder if the enigma of M.S. and A.L.S. could be solved through extensive NO2 research.
In conclusion, I cannot over emphasize the importance of this new-found benefit. My trainees are experiencing results, nothing short of astounding with this new trick in my arsenal. By no means will I suggest that HFR be limited to lagging body parts. Apply it where EVER YOU train for that extra neural-feed. The difference between Ordinary and Extraordinary is that little “EXTRA”.
