Welcome!
I live in Hattiesburg. What is the name of your gym? Where will it be located? I work out in a local gym here. There are several people on this board from H'burg. Give us more details. You never know, I may be one of your members. HEHE!

Welcome aboard! Any plans to open this mythical "hardcore" gym in N. Minnesota? (where I'm headed). Or perhaps you could recommend to a colleague to open one there. (So far the best choices I will have are the YMCA and the local tennis club. Methinks I'll be dragging logs around the backyard for training based on available facilities.)
Allow chalk
Allow deadlifts
Allow boxes for squatting and bands and chains for speed work
Hire trainers with degrees and certs that have half a clue about training
Stock your gym with The Journal of Applied Physiology instead of Muscle & Fitness
Don't let people curl in the squat/power rack
Don't tell people that cardio is the best way to burn fat...or even the 5th best way.
Encourage the women to challenge themselves by putting up a "50lb, 100lb, 150lb, 200lb (etc..) Club" board for women's lifts.
Don't be afraid to help with proper form.
