Gaining mass(LBM) on a ketogenic diet is like trying to drive an 8 cylinder car with only 4 spark plugs in...sure you will move a little bit if you are LUCKY...but its a VERY inefficient and slow way of doing it.
Unless you are a newbie to juice and you start a above maintenance calorie diet with juice, you wont gain much if ANYTHING on a CKD....CKD is for fat loss and MUSCLE MAINTENANCE...it is NOT a diet to gain LBM...why waste time with a CKD when you could eat all those yummy carbs and gain LBM.
You have to decide what you want...gaining mass or losing fat...if you TRY to do BOTH at the same time...you will get CRAPPY results for both goals....do one or the other...bulk up on CLEAN carbs then cut up and maintain the LBM on a CKD.
Its a HUGE waste of juice if you are taking juice and trying to gain LBM on a CKD....use the juice to prevent muscle loss...not try to gain...cause it wont happen unless you are a newbie to drugs and diet.
