18's? Sweet. Then definitely check out tirerack.com. Even with the shipping costs, I saved like $150 over buying inferior tires at a local retail place.

All Hankooks rock, and the Kumho Ultra High Performance model rocks. Both tight looks tires.

Yeah I bet that little ride does handle good. Just not enough power for me. I had to with something with at least 200hp. If I found a low mileage used one with that factory blower, I'd be all over that.
yea , tirerack's prices are sick

tirerack rocks
I have 108000 miles on me supra
on my 11th set of rear tires

true, but we are talking about a 20K car man.

You could get a used RX8 still under warranty for 20k. BTW I'm not bashing the Tc, it's a nice little car for the price with Toyota quality finish. I would just keep it stock.

used vs new, whole nother ball game.

I understand that you arern't knocking the tc, but you seem to subscribe to the "Dont mod a FWD" car conecpt.

But just for fun, a blown tC with a pulley is actually faster then an Rx8, gets better gas mileage, cheaper to maintain, and a lot more reliable then a rotary engine.

Sure the Rx-8 can handle better, but who cares about that. ;)

Sure its faster. The RX-8 brings a massive 155 ft lbs of torque. Oooh the neck strain. Without 8k rpm clutch drops, its comes off the line like a grannymobile. They do handle sweetly though even in totally stock form.
