I just had to share this with everyone. I know I've said on here a few times that in March I tore my tricep. I tore the lower tricep in two places and then have had aggravation going up into my shoulder/ rotator cuff. What made it really bad was that I didn't realize, at first, how bad it was so trained with it for another 2 weeks after the injury. Duh!
I'm not a big physio fan so decided to see a chiropractor who specializes in sports injuries using a technique called Active Release. It is sooo painful but has done wonders. Anyway...I had started training regularly again late summer (probably too much too soon) but was having issues and have been back in weekly rehab.
He said today that the tricep is almost back to normal. There is very little scar tissue left and I'm close to being able to start training again and strengthening it back up. My shoulder isn't quite there yet but I aggravate it by sleeping on it. I try not to but wake up that way!!
So...I just had to share that news! I was so excited to hear that I'm almost there.
Thanks for "listening".
