my bold BROWNS prediction...

shut up eviscerator..

you too NB..

bastards..

wodin.. a wildcard appearance.. would be great.. as would a 10-6 season.. but we're not talking about an rams type of offense here. yeah the offense is good.. but it's not nearly as explosive enough to make up for the deficiences at D... esp. the pass D (or lack thereof)

You aren't giving Green / Holcomb enough credit Decem. Sure you need a superstud WR but the browns have made solid strides and continue to do so. Plus your schedule isn't the toughest in the world.

dude.. we have one of the most elite WR corps in the league with morgan, northcut, johnson, and davis..

also.. i did give green credit.. and i will again.. here: as long as will green has a wide ass open hole and it's between the 5 and 4 holes.. he's fucking good.. otherwise.. he sucks..

and i'll give holcomb hella cred.. but even holcomb's abilities combined with oustanding wide outs cannot make up for shitty play calling and shitty plays or lack of good plays..

and what the hell are you talking about a weak sched?

dude..

start w/ colts,
then ravens,
then a win over 9ers and bengals..
then we have the steelers,
then the raiders..
then a win over the chargers..
then a win over the pats
then we have the chiefs..
then a win over the cards,
then we have the steelers..
then another win over the seahawks..
then the rams (who will tear up the d)
then the broncos..
then the ravens again
then finish with a win over the bengals...

so.. 6 almost solid lock wins.. but the rest are totally unfavorable situations

"Most elite"? No.

They're good, but they aren't elite yet.

The best receiver tandems in the league right now are the Steelers with Burress and Ward, the Rams with Holt and Bruce, the Raiders with Brown, Rice and Porter, and the Colts, Vikings and 49ers - just because they have one superstud receiver (Harrison, Moss and Owens).

Morgan and Northcutt are 2nd tier receivers...Wait till you draft a stud Like Owens, Moss, Harrison or Burress then you'll see.

On the Rankings Clevland has the 22nd toughest schedule in the leauge.

no.. they are one of the most elite.. for fuck's sake.. dude.. to have those FOUR on one roster? c'mon.. yeah the other teams might have 1 or 2 good receivers.. but that's it.. to have FOUR..

Kevin Johnson had one good year in 2001. Northcutt, Morgan and Davis are all one year wonders so far. We'll see this year if they fall into that "elite" category yet or not.

Nevertheless the best receivers aren't going to make up for that porous O-Line you'll have this year.

true.. but having holcomb in as opposed to couch will help with that a little.. dude knows the offense inside and out and can read d's like a mofo

Sing it brother.... Ward is the most underrated guy in the league. I would take him over Moss, Rice, Brown, Porter, Harrison etc... He is more productive, a better run blocker and he will knoc the head off of DB when he gets a chance. He is a true FOOTBALL player. Not some primadonna pussy who acts like a thug.
