Max out for chest....What then for Back?

polishhammer1977, sorry but don't go trying to flame members when you are a newbie. We are a tight crew here and have each others back...

To help answer though here goes:

I think the best exercises for maxing out back would be T-Bar Rows, One armed dumbell rows, and deadlifts. Good luck.

and how are gonna clean anyone up?

you don't know where he is.....and what are you gonna track him down over an arguement on the internet and teach him a lesson?

If you are maxing out on bench and then going straight to a back exercise here is what I would suggest.

Max bench - 4 reps at minimum
Max deadlifts - 4 reps minimum

I wouldn't go less than 4 reps if you are a bodybuilder and not a powerlifter. No need with the chance of injury.

Mu opinion...

Polish,

In my opinion, it's exactly like how "Greg21" put it. Have to do "deadlifts." Stiff-leg deadlifts, I would throw in also for lower back. Go slow down to the furthest stretch you can, and go just short of lock-out going up,...don't straighten out. Do them slow, and use good form. They are great if done correctly. You will get a hamstring workout sure, but keep in mind, you also use hams, and whole body in deads, so make sure to be "fresh" when you do em'. Although, you could substitute "stiff's" with "hyperextentions" with strict form. This requires less hamstring. Up to you really,... but definately do the "deads," they are key in building a gret thick structure for your back, and pretty much whole body too.

Hope it helped.

Thank you. That's all I wanted. I understand that I'm new. But I am not the new kid in school that lets people push him around,
"sort of speak". Not trying to flame anybody. Just trying to learn and put more things together. I hope I am understood. Thanx man.

Bodytemple & NC

Thank you. Very informative stuff. I appreciate it a great deal.

Other guys talking shit. Lets all end it here. Im not one for talking and I see a trend beginning. Im out of it. I just want to learn.

Adios

t-bar rows...

damn good exercise.

Go heavy, but stress.... "as strict as a form as you can on each exercise!" This is key. Do basics, as suggested here by the other bros,as well as myself,...but deadlifts are to back,....as what squats are to legs... Capice?

Again,..hope I helped...

We welcome all here and try our best to help everyone. All you have to do is be polite about it. None of us like seeing bullshit clog up the board, so ask your question humbly and plenty of bros will be happy to respond. Threaten someone and it only makes you look stupid. I've e-mailed many cocky fuckers info on where to find me but its funny that no one actually follows through :o .
It doesnt matter how big you think you are guy, its how you are down on the ground that matters.
If you and I are on the ground, it means I have you in full mount and am pounding the shit out of you. No need to be an internet tough guy here.

Welcome to the board and relax. We're all here to learn and help
