Looking for some advice to fix my System

I'm going to put it bluntly. I haven't had a solid movement in like a month and frankly I'm getting pretty sick of it. My usual day goes like this:

Breakfast: protein bar with an apple or banana, centrum vitamin, one 500mg calcium pill and one capsule of sesamin oil.

Lunch: Usually a turkey sandwich with double meat from wawa or subway, onions, sweet peppers, spicy mustard as toppings. another sesamin capsule

Snack: Beef jerky, kashi bar, 16 oz. of peach honest tea (85 calories per bottle) Sometimes I'll grab some fresh cut fruit form wawa (pineapple and mango)

Dinner: Usually a lean cuisine or two grilled chicken sandwiches from mcdonalds with nothing on them. One more sesamin capsule and another 500mg calcium. three capsules of ZMA before I go to sleep.

I know I don't get enough calories per day but thats because I recently wanted to drop weight from around 195 lbs to my current weight of about 160.

Any advice on what I can add in there or change so that I can actually take a solid crap!!! It's seriously getting on my nerves now.

please help!

nothings stands out as a suspect in your diet -- in facty the sesamin is an anti-diareahhea of sorts.

first off, loose stool or diareahhea for that long may be an indication of illness and should be evaluated by a doctor

in the meantime, try increasing your fiber intake -- either bran or metamucil or steelcut oats for example - that might help

I'm pretty intent on getting this fixed. I, as most people, prefer to avoid the doctor's office if possible. I doubt its illness because in all honesty I never get sick. I haven't had a cold or flu in probably 10 years.

I'm leaning towards not enough fiber intake since I go pretty light on the carbs everyday, and what carbs I do eat are usually not whole grain (I'm pretty sure the wawa and subway bread is enriched flour). I'm thinkign about buying a good dietary fiber supplement and starting a morning and evening (or post-workout on those days) fiber + protein supplement. Got to be cheaper than buying protein bars everyday.

another thing... is there any way you can eat other than fast food?

I would say on average probably 2-3 liters of water each day. I don't eat the mcdonalds grilled chicken sandwiches often, thats probably a once or twice a week thing when I didnt go to the grocery store and ran out of lean cuisines.

I'm about to take the plunge into *gasp* cooking. I bought two bodybuilder cookbooks off amazon.com that should be arriving at my house today. Hopefully I can get some tips from that on how to eat more calories that taste better and also cheaper@!

I probably spend 20 dollars a day right now on food and I'm at wawa twice everyday!! I think thats pathetic and some of the wawa cashiers even know me by name now. that makes me sad. the never solid poo makes me even more sad though :(

Process of elimination:

Cut out the Wawa

Cut out the Mc D

What you are experiencing is clearly a food allergy.

Question one from the FAQ on www.foodallergy.org

What is a food allergy?

A food allergy is an immune system response to a food that the body mistakenly believes is harmful. Once the immune system decides that a particular food is harmful, it creates specific antibodies to it. The next time the individual eats that food, the immune system releases massive amounts of chemicals, including histamine, to protect the body. These chemicals trigger a cascade of allergic symptoms that can affect the respiratory system, gastrointestinal tract, skin, and/or cardiovascular system. Scientists estimate that approximately 12 million Americans suffer from food allergies.

I made it bold incase you missed it :)

cut the calcium and spices... if you have been training hard, then rest for a couple of days.... full rest I mean.... as for carbs, whole grains and if possible add some rice or potatoes.

and yes... drink more water you may become dehidrated with your condition

haha, thanks doom I appreciate the bolded text :) Maybe I'll try switching up my diet entirely for two weeks and see if it goes away. I would really like to know exactly which food is giving me the allergy if that is indeed what it is. I wonder if its the sugar alcohols in the protein bars...

PS - Nice illidan pic. I'm browsing the wow forums now (work is boring as fuck). wtb those glaives on my rogue :chomp: Don't know how I could ever live a decently healthy lifestyle and devote the time to raiding to get them though.
