Lifting with broken hand

So some of you may already know but I currently have cast for the next 3 weeks due to a broken hand. There is nothin I hate more than watching my body wither away because I cant lift, I have a few questions.

1. Is it possible for me to use a certain program that will allow me to lift with one hand where I can at least maintain what I have? Possibly gain?

2. One armed squats and deadlifts seem like viable movements, could these at least keep my body from inducing atrophy?

3. I dont mind a muscle imbalance because once the cast is off my weak arm will catch up very quickly.

People with personal experience on this topic your opinions are valued. I'm desperate...

Bro you're not going to wither in 3 weeks unless you've been working out for a couple of weeks only.

Seriouly, get your diet in check and workout your legs 3 days a week. You'll maintain your mass and lose only the pump.

Thanks for your concern but i"m saying I wont use this hand at all when I lift, like its in a cast haha. Its not like I'll try benching with a broken hand, there has to be a way I can lift only using my left arm, just to maintain at least.

like I said, do legs 2-3 times a week....you'll maintain size on your upper body...your body will release more natural test and gh and with a good diet you wont lose anything

Also specific leg routine i could do would be great, especially because i never use machines and i feel like ill have to start now.

a true champion is tough both physically and mentally.

a broken hand is when you use your mental toughness and take a few weeks off.
a sore finger you gut it out and work thru the pain.

use it and you may hurt your elbow or shoulder big time then your next post will be asking what to do in the 4 months rehab.

go out and run and work on cardio. work on legs.. do leg raises for abs.

pretty simple.

lets see how tough mentally you are.

3 weeks isnt bad at all, I'd go with legs 3x a week and throw in some core training...and next time you have someone mounted throw down the elbows...they'll save your hands and can do alot more damage haha

haha thanks dude but im not stupid, i have absolutely no intention or desire to lift with a broken hand that is in a cast. I'll stick with legs. when i say lift with a broken hand i dont mean still using my hand to lift i mean lifting while working around the injury.

If you have a powercage then you could squat, but keep the weight lighter than usual in case you lose control.

You can also use a pullover machine and a Nautilus style tricep extension machine and lateral raise machine as well as pec-dec (never thought I'd recommend that thing again)!

Most ab exercises require no grip, not to mention calves!
