LG's *first* Journal

I'll stick with it, I should see SOME results in about a month...??
I had 1 cup of oatmeal for breakfast this morning, instead of the usual 1/2 & there is no way I could choke back 4 egg whites on top of that..now if I added some milk, would that work for protien? Or perhapes cut it back to 1/2 cup oat. & have room for the egg whites.. :)
Im sorry if this sounds stupid, I just want to make sure I do it right, Im tired of going in circles. I've even considered waking up @5am to get ALL the meals in for the day & start doing am cardio again.

Also, besides BCAA, Mulit-vit, Protien & Glut. are there any other supp's in any of your opinions that would be worth giving a shot.
I used to take cell mass- but didnt notice much from it. Than, you mention super pump- worth the $$$???

Thanks!

Hey LG!

I just wanted to chime in on the milk. I don't want to sound anti dairy but milk contains a lot of sugar. Usually 12 grams per cup. Now what's deceiving to most is the concept of buying skim milk. Yes skim milk has reduced fat, but all of the sugar is still there.

So ..... this is just my 2 pennies but since your current goal is to lean out, i would stay away from milk.

I agree with OneBreath on the milk.
If 1/3 c of oatmeal(btw, oatmeal is 1/3 or 1/2 cup uncooked. That turns into 1 cup once you cook it) is too much for now, then have 1/2 the portion and have the eggs with it. Eggs are one of the best proteins available.

You'll see results in a couple of weeks or less, but if you go out and binge, you'll take two steps back, but you know that.

Stick with BCAA, glut, and a pre workout and post workout if you take one for now. Once the diet kicks in you'll find that, that alone will help you lose bf. If you need to lose additional bf, then you take something else. You need to give a diet a chance first. It works, just be patient. Everytime you change things, you're basically stating again.
As far as the super pump, I change my pre-workout drink every two months because they don't work after a while. This happens to be the one I'm trying now. It's ok. I liked better Beta Nox, but like I said, after a while it stops working. If cell max is not working, then don't take it.

Ok, Awesome.
I kinda figured that about milk, thanks for clarifying.
Lol, do I ever feel like a tard about the oatmeal, no wonder I was soo full this morning, I measured uncooked.. I'll def. have room for the egg whites tomorrow..

I won't be binging, no worries there, Im done going in circles- its time for results. :)

Thanks Than- that would explain why cell mass wasnt working for me after a bit. I'll keep switching it up or just cycle it.

Hi- figured id post a quick note.
I've been ill all week, ( yay flu season!) so I've avoided the gym like a plauge ( havent been since sunday ).Been trying to get AS MUCH R&R as possible & its slowely working its course out of my body..
Kills me to have to stay home & rest, I feel myself getting soft, not so much putting on the weight but simply maintaining w/ the diet Than has layed out for me. Which I LOVE btw. I bought a food scale & tho it feels a bit anal every night weighing out food for the next- I'm NEVER hungry anymore & I have a new found love for sweeeeet potatos! :)
Thanx a million Than.

Sorry you're ill, LG! I know how you feel; I've been taking off from the gym as well for this week and maaaayybe next week. I feel like a fat cow, but is all in our minds. Once you go back, everything will be back in place.

I'm glad you're sticking with it. Yes, it's defenitely anal, but it works and you'll get lean with it. If you're loving sweet potato, try organic yams; it'll feel like you're cheating all day long :-)

I hope you'll feel better soon and at the gym by Monday..

Thanks Than.
Yes its a terrible feeling- getting soft. I want to sooo badly get back into the gym, but know its not
in my best interest..so its the couch & soup. Probably until monday..

I'll check out the organic yams :) thanks!

Hey, glad you're feeling better and back at the gym.
No, you wouldn't be droping muscles with that! I'm glad you lost 2 lbs. However, keep an eye on it. I don't want you to lose more then 2 lbs per week. If so I'll give you
more food. :verygood:
Good job, LG!
