Lessons learned from Bad Relationship

Just curious what are some of the lessons you learned from a bad relationship. I just got out of one and this is some of what I learned.

*you cannot change people only can change yourself
*once the trust is gone it is very difficult if possible to get back
*keep a separate bank account if possible
*stand your ground and don't change b/c of someone
*love is a two way street
*don't be afraid to pull out if you see early warning signs of problems

I have learned much more, but I am curious as two what some of you have learned through your many relationships.

agree with you, you cant change someone.
if you s/o tells you something from the heart, listen.
dont take it for granted, you might not have them tomorrow.
not all stalking charges hold up in court....just kidding

my ex seemed so damn innocent and sweet
really she fooled everyone, most definetly me. u think after almost 3 yrs you'd know someone.
man she had me wrapped around her finger
its been almost a year and im just seeing this now
its so fucked up

greatest thing when ur in love, but...
when its over, love will make ya feel like a fool.

Even in the bad relationship, you can learn. If you keep that atitiude, that'll keep you going.
