LBM, gain muscle with no fat... how?

Yeah well, I'm curious because I always here it's possible, just gains come alot slower... but I'm more of a recreational lifter, I realized. I'm not in it for competition or to prove strength over anyone. I just wanna look good. And I mean all year round. So, can anyone point me in the direction of articles, websites, threads, or their own past experiences on attaining LBM without fat gain (or VERY minimal)? I'm looking for something that's not insane, like 200+ grams of protein a day. I don't want to have to cram food down my throat, make homemade weight gainers, etc. etc. I just want it to be something I do on the side, not something that dictates my life. I'd GREATLY appreciate it if anyone could assist me here.

Thank you all so much!

well bro if you dont want to eat and dont want to do insane things like consume protein...Then well you're just shit out of luck... Sorry but that just how it is... You don't get something for nothing.. You want to change your body then you have to be willing to do what it takes through training, diet, and rest. But then again members of this board have been telling you what u need to do for months now... Either listen to them or just stay the same...

what jdarty said

you have a new question every other day, which the people on this board have been more than willing to help you out with. aside from the fact that you want to be spoonfed advice when you could be doing some simple research on your own to answer your own questions, when you come back and post new questions about how you should be training, you make it very apparent that you're not listening to the things that we have taken the time out to explain to you. you ask about the 5x5 routine and 10-11 people type out at least a paragraph to help you out, then you come back the next week and start asking about how you can train with just bodyweight. please stop wasting people's time.

either do this or don't do it. and if you do want to do it, use the search button and try to figure some of these questions out for yourself.

good luck

Legion really... All of us who have been trying to help you have been at this for years...We know what does and doesn't work through info past down to us and our own trial and error.. It would be in your best interest to follow some of the advice you've been given.. Trust me, you will be most happy that you did..

We've all been in your shoes, just starting out.. And it's important to realize you need to listen to the advice of others instead of being stubborn with your head up your ass.. We're all here to help bro, but please.. Just open your ears and listen for a change.. It will be well worth your time and effort if you do.

Peace

I gotta try that CCJ, thanks.

As for the rest of you, I think you've just become too absorbed in this world of bodybuilding and such. Sounds to me like you guys think you can't make gains unless you eat that much protein. You're telling me everyone out there who looks really good, has nice bodies, doesn't let weight training dictate their life, still eats 200+ grams of protein, and 20x BW in calories? Hardly. Not a fuckin' chance. Sure, it may allow for quicker, more optimal gains, but in no way is it the only method of going about gaining muscle.

if it was as easy as just lifting and not eating properly, a lot of us would do that.

you cant build mass while being in a caloric deficit. at all. you CAN get leaner, and maybe thats what you want to do. i'm not sure. but if thats what you wanna do, go for it

^your full of it...you have to know your body and it's needs. If you wanna become leaner then you eat protein without carbs and do cardio. If you wanna bulk then you eat more protein w/carbs and do less cardio. simple as that
