lacked last half of routine

So i did Squats, deadlift, bench, dips in that order.

i had 8 1/2 hours of sleep, i had breakfast and lunch.

I ran 1.07 miles(the exact route distance) at a moderate to slow pace.

So i was feeling like i needed to get 225 on squats so i did(previous workout did 215). i got 3 sets of warmup(10-15 reps at 45,135,185) and 4 sets of 5 at 225. I was extremely out of breath doing these too. My heart felt like it was blowing up during sets and i felt like i did when i ran a 4:58 mile in high school: like there was no oxygen in the air between sets.

deadlift i got 4 reps of 250, so it didnt go toooo bad.

after that i tried bench, was suppose to go to 165, but i could only get 3 reps on first set, then 1 on the rest of the sets.

and on dips i was suppose to do weighted at 55 for 5 reps at 2 sets(1 set no weight to failure: i got to 7 which was kinda low for non weighted dip). i got 1 rep weighted and that was all i could do.

now my question. Can intense squats make the rest of your workout hard to the point where i cant do it? I cant seem to find what i did wrong. Igot plenty of sleep and ate. The only other thing ive changed in my life is i have stopped buying cigarettes but only smoke when with my friends(my first step on quitting all together, i need to get out of the habit of buying before i quit altogether to make it a little easier:smoked 2 cigs since then)bout a week ago which i figured would help me. Could that have shocked my body in a bad way til i get over the 'hump'?

Yes definately possible...doing squats followed by deadlifts will hit your CNS hard and it will be hard to put enough energy and power in the rest of the exercises.

any way to fix this problem?

don't run before a workout- if it hasn't been a problem up until now and you notice that doing heavy squats/deads/bench on the same day is too much and that one or more of the lifts is hindering your progress on another lift, then i would change up your routine.

its in the Rippetoes and Madcow workouts to do squats every day including deadlift days...

That's a specific program and it works well for many people. However, for a lot of people including myself, squatting and deadlifting heavy on the same day doesn't allow one to perform optimally.

How many days per week are you doing deads? One?

How many days per week are you squatting? Three?

Only do 4-5 sets of light squats working in the 135-155 range, then pull heavy on your deadlift day. No real reason to squat heavy and pull heavy on the same day unless you are in a PL competition. The purpose of a light squat day in these programs is to help reinforce proper technique by giving you more practice (practice makes perfect :))and to warm you up for your DL work.

Also, not sure why you're running before you train? I'd run after training or on a non training day.

it was as a warmup.

and the deadlift is on workout A so it could be 1 or 2 times a week deadlifting. So when im doing a deadlift that workout, i shouldnt do heavy squats? just do a higher rep workout instead?
