Dam iam so ready for the off season. Well i wasnt sure if i felt up to this meet. I was pretty beat up this week from Daytona last week. But my buddy put it on and i told him i would come. They always put on a great meet. About 50 lifters or so, in a banquet hall. Food , drinks, and a nice place to lift.
I knew i would be last so i kinda let every get almost done so i coudl have it to myself. Lots of warming up. I felt good. I just picked the wrong numbers. Now since Daytona i have been tryoing to stay below 240lbs. I thought i was , but the dam shirt felt to bad again. Not too bad just not good as last week.
1st attempt 600lbs. I could not touch it , but dam it i tried! It fell on my stomach about 2 inces out of groove. No lift.
Now i should hav egone to 615 then it would hav etouched just right. But NO i stayed at 600 thinking it was stretched better.
2nd attempt 600lbs. Same thing ....but.... as it dumped on my stomach i decided fuck it, its going up! Whe i finally got the press call, it took my 3 seconds to roll it back up were my wrists were straight again and blasted it to lockout. No lift. See as it fell on my stomach, And i dont mean 2inches this time it was on my fuckin stomach! IN order for it to not crush me my ass was up to keep the weigh from driving me into the bench. Hell i didn think i could arch! So no lift.
Now here is were my fuckin Ego jumps in! Now keep in mind i am here for fun. It was basically an exhibition for me. SO third attempt. New shirt time!
Final attempt 645lbs! Guess what? No touch. The last inch or so had my body contorting so much i just said take it.
So i Bombed. I am not un happy though. I was messin around. I could have pulled th eshirt down and gone 625 but said to thell with it and satyed heavy. Back to the gym next week , and no meets till Oct! Hell ya! Rest.
