Is this a good cutting diet?

This is my first time trying to work with the different ratios of P/C/F, so lemme know if this is good.

Stats: 21yrs, 5-11, Male, 158lbs, BF% is under 15 for sure....not sure about it exactly (need to find this out, i know)

Goals: Bruce Lee Body :) Seriously though, I'd just like to get cut and get those abs showing real good for myself.

Workout: Lift Weights 5day/week for about an hour, Jog 30min each day immediately after lifting weights (lower intensity), sometimes I throw in a little time on the bike for about 15min.

Diet:

7am
---
1 Multi-Vitamin
.5 Cup Oats (prepared with 1 cup water)
2 Whole Eggs (fried, non-stick spray with primary ingredient canola oil, eating these for fat primarily with added benefit of protein)
1 Serving Whey Protein

WORKOUT

10am
----
1 Serving Spaghetti
1 Serving Whey Protein

12pm
----
1 Serving Spaghetti
200g Chicken
1.5 Cup Salad

2:30pm
------
200g Chicken
1 Serving Whey Protein

5:00pm
----
200g Chicken
1.5 Cup Salad

Plus I drink at least a gallon to 2 gallons of water per day.

FitDay Nutritional Stats
---------------------
Calories: 1600
Fat: 28g (17%)
Sat: 6g (3%)
Poly: 5g (3%)
Mono: 6g (4%)
Carbs: 124g (30%)
Fiber: 10g (0%)
Protein: 199g (53%)
---------------------

So I'm close to my aim of 50p/30c/20f. I tried to keep the bulk of my carb intake in the morning structured around my workouts (slow digesting carb before, quicker digesting after to replace lost glycogen....or whichever chemical is used during workouts, lol)

I have 1000mg Flaxseed Oil Pills and 1000mg Omega-3 pills available to me, should I be adding any of those into the mix each day? I'm also considering adding some sort of Ephedra pill, most likely Xenadrine or one of the many variants that are still available, which would be 3 each day (2 at 7am, 1 at 12pm).

Thanks for the help!

If you are wanting to get cut, the outline is horrid.

Not to bash you, but I'm just telling you what I think.

why not do a ckd diet? strive for a 1-1 ratio Pro. to fat and keep carbs around 20 grams a day. As for your daily alotment of carbs get them from low gi foods( broccoli, green beans, salad). also supplement with good oils(olive, UDO's, salmon, flax)

Well, I put a lot of thought about whether I should do the CKD or not and finally decided that as a college student, it really just isn't possible for me, so I went the Isocaloric type of diet instead. My college cafeteria's idea of "food" differs from the rest of the planet in that nearly everything has carbs in it. Sadly, I just don't have the money to be able to buy all the food that would be required. Trust me though, I have been eyeing Mr. X's ANPB diet a lot lately though considering how cheap it would be to do it.

I definitely wouldn't go down to 20 grams of Carbs a day. But I definitely would get rid of the spaghetti...you don't need starchy carbs in a cutting diet. Use something more like brown rice, or sweet potatoes. If you go too low in carbs starting out, like 20 grams, your metabolism will not kick in.

I'm not a diet guru by any means, so this is just opinion. Take or leave it, it's just my opinion.

Eat more eggs and drop the morning shake. I eat 3 egg whites and 2 whole. Use olive oil to cook.

WORKOUT
take some whey (about 50g) and some carbs post work out. Most people here will recommend dextrose as a good carb PW.

10am
----
1 Serving Spaghetti
1 Serving Whey Protein
drop the spaghetti and the whey. Limit the protein shakes to 1 or 2 a day, find solid forms of protein like Chiken, Steak, Turkey, Fish.
Have some meat (whichever animal), 1 1/2 - 2 cups of greens (I personnaly like tons of broc. and spinach), use extra virgin olive oil and balsamic on the greens (if raw) and eat a handful of nuts, like walnuts or almonds.

12pm
----
1 Serving Spaghetti
200g Chicken
1.5 Cup Salad
Drop the spaghetti. Eat a sweet potato for a good carb source

2:30pm
------
200g Chicken
1 Serving Whey Protein
Drop the whey and eat some more greens

5:00pm
----
200g Chicken
1.5 Cup Salad
this looks good. Just make sure you're not using Ranch or Thousand Islands for salad dressing. Stick to olive oil and balsamic.

You should have 1 more meal composed of protein and fats before bed. I usually have a chicken breast and some ANPB or Milk and Egg protein (slow release) protein and some ANPB. Limit carb intake toward the end of the day. Take whey post workout as it is absorbed fast and will help your recently strained muscles in recovery. If you are going to use protein shakes any other time of the day use a slow release protein so that your muscles have a more constant supply of protein.

Plus I drink at least a gallon to 2 gallons of water per day.
Good

I currently do a 50/30/20 P/F/C as opposed to P/C/F. Fats are very benefitial to lean muscle gains, carbs are used as energy but if that energy is not needed, then they turn to fat. I would personally rather have a higher F than C intake.

Definately take the flax seed oil pills, I am to sure , maybe some one can correct me, but I beleive that flax seed pills should contain Omega 3 and 6, so you should not have to take both.

Good luck.

Like stated above, this is just my O.

Ya, I changed it to a 50p/30f/20c like Sorearms said he uses and I've been really making the effort to stick to it. So far......damn, I feel like I'm eating so much more food, yet I'm losing weight, and I'm feeling much better when I work out. Oh yes, I also decided to get a sample of T-Rex and see how that works for me. I've had awesome results with Xenadrine before in the past, but it sounds like this could work better, so I'll just have to see once the sample gets here how it affects me.

I'll keep you guys posted on my progress, thanks for the help!
