got a new pre workout. its good but for some reason its almost half filled with maltodextrin. besides the obvious reasons for it post workout, why would anyone need it in their pre workout?
Quick source of energy....I wouldn't use it personally, a better protein bar or some oatmeal with some berries would probably be better...is it a n.o. product?
yeah its n.o. product with a good dose of b vitamins too. but in the "proprietary blend" then number one ingredient is maltodextrin. im guessing its about 25-40% of the scoop. just wondering from the manufacturers point of view why they would put it in there. maltodextrin isnt a good source of energy

it might not be a "good" source of energy but it is still a source of energy which i'm sure is why they put it in there, but it's just processed bs....either way I wouldn't buy that stuff again, I would much rather have a better protein bar and a scoop of n2kts pre-workout
