A lot of the time when I don't cook my chicken the night before i'll take 3 cans of tuna with me to work for meals 2,3 and 4. I eat the tuna with flax and a little balsamic vinigar along with a sweet potato.

Is 3 cans to much. I 'am concrened with mercury content and other possible toxins.

The mercury content is pretty high in tuna, so would advise against eating 3 cans every day, but on days when you don't have chicken (which should be pretty rare) it's ok. Just try to keep from doing that every day. I'd say about once or twice a week is ok to eat that much.

I've been eating Tuna for over 4 months now 2 to 3 cans aday.
From what i have read you don't have to worry about Mercury in tuna it is very low.

bigmag can you post a site or the info you have on how much Mercury is in tuna here so i can read it please?

I've heard mercury is mainly a problem for children and if you are pregnant. Tuna does have a higher level of mercury than other fish, for some reason it absorbs more than other fish, but if that level is high enough to effect an adult, I am unsure, heard both ways.
