Thank you for the corrections; my English isn't perfect when written at 80 words per minute. It's also my third language.
In any case, I have nothing against needsize. I have a problem with the insults made at my expense. Surely this is understandable...
"I am well educated. That must make me the smartest man alive, by your logic. "
It is important to differentiate between knowledge and intelligence. They're not synonymous... which isn't to say that you're on or the other. I don't know you.
"I honestly want to know ... Where do you get your knowledge of training?"
Well, I read everything I can get my hands on and try to learn as much from the experts as I can.
"I don't want to be an asshole to you, or anyone. I want to learn as much as I can about this sport, and share whatever I have with others. I get my knowledge from reading and training."
Then I guess we've got the same goals.
"Where does yours come from?"
Reading, experience, talking to the experts. I don't trust anecdotal evidence or my own experience yet; maybe when I'm an advanced lifter.
" Post your stats, goals, etc. I want to see if you're true to lifting, and not some punk who thinks he knows it all. "
What kind of stats?
Goals:
Bench 300
Squat 400 [box squat, that is]
Deadlift 500
I also like staying in shape. Which is why I include GPP, stretching, cardio, and recuperation in various forms.
