I need an effective Ab routine, advice please

Hi, I'm bulking and I realize that i'm not going to be chiseled right now. but i'd like to make my abs grow big and strong so that when i do cut they will look good. What's the best routine for abs? how many times a week? thanks. I read some routine by needsize, have you guys used this? thanks for the help
 
IMHO....A weighted ab routine is the best for what u asked. Rope pulldowns, weighted decline sits, leg ups with medicine ball, hanging leg raises with ankle weights. Just a few! But abs are ALL DIET!
 
ok thanks thanks. and once a week right? like any other muscle group? also, i'm 5'11 164 right now, it takes a while for me to bulk up due to my metabolism. you think its worth getting up to 180 or 185 then cutting down? I started my bulk at 150
 
At 5'11 164 u should have abs??? With a high meb rate I can't see u not having abs??? Post pics and diet! And I hit abs as soon as their not sore!
 
If you work out hard and eat right you can bulk lean. I believe I saw in Amounirl's log that he added 15 lbs and can still see his abs. Like Mad Max said, diet will make them show. If want them to be huge when cut everything from squats( especially over head squats), deadlifts, good mornings, weighed situps and weighted leg raises, and heavy cable crunches should build it up. Twists, planks, leg raises, regular crunches, ect. should help cut and define them.
