that's nothing - i saw an older chick once at my gym in a leather mini skirt and black panty hose. she had these knee high black leather boots on and she was doing squats on the smith machine! no one could believe it! i just stood there with my mouth open wondering wtf?!

hookers need strong knees

My old gym went the gambit of guys coming in with their abercrombie hats on backwards, wife beaters and khaki pants...all the way to this one guy (who wasn't big enough to get away with this in my mind) some sort of leotard (don't know how you spell it) thing. It was hot pink, and black. If any of you watch WWE wrestling, it looks like the outfit Kurt Angle wears. His wife/girlfriend/mistress/skank was taking pictures of him the whole time. This guy doing squats next to me looked over at me and said "now ain't that cute?".

Hannibal wears his, but with good reason. It's too hot to wear with the sleeves, but the material holds the chalk and the bar well without it slipping, and it also provides cushion between his back and the bar, without being overly thick (has to be tucked into a squat suit).

yes for sure. I remember the last time i goodmorninged with no shirt on...i nearly dislocated my shoulders when the bar slipped on my skin.....but im talking about guys doing curls and machine presses. The only function of the shirt is to flaunt it.

I guess i dont relate because i am from the "other side" of weight lifting.

I allways work out in one of my two favourite sweatshirts. I dont like wearing tanktops or tight tshirts to the gym becasue people stare. The fatasses who think they look so damn good in the gym are the same ones who cover themselfs up when they see me in the loocker room :)
