I bet that I can curl more than you

I will say that biceps are definatly the money for the women. I can't deal real well with the guys that have great looking pipes and no wheels at all and a marathon runners chest, makes me laugh really.

I can hit 75lb DB's alternating, standing; 165 e-z curl with arm blaster for 3-4 a little lean involved.

I started last week going supper slow on my bi's last week as I heard that bi's are slow twitch and need to be work slower. I did 55 3x5 today on the incline bench, hammers.

I used to be able to curl my bodyweight...but then I realized I never wanted to be a bodybuilder and having a strong curl means nothing, for me its about how I look. I didnt even train my bi's for a couple months cause they were getting wrecked in my back workouts. I can curl the 80's for a few alternating now, and prob 165 for a few on the easy bar, there's no use in going heavy though. I do a lot of isolation movements(machines, preachers) and work with the 50-55 lbs dumbells most of the time.

You guys do curls?

Biceps are small muscles. . . it doesn't matter how much you can curl.

Many people who use big weights still have terrible bicep development.
Is it that there is no development or simply their genetics dont cause their bi's to stand up? If they are moving big weights with strict form they have good bicep development its just their genetics hides that fact. I have decent sized arms, but they sure dont look like it(well not to me anyways). My bi's are very long and go solidly from elbow to shoulder so it appears i have a very flat arm. That doesnt mean I dont have decent bi's, its just my genetics dont make them as appealing as someone whose bi's attach further from the joint.

FYI I use 70lb bumbells for concentration curls, 5 reps, seated, bent slightly at waist with elbow on inside of thigh.

I have the exact same attachment problem. There's a respectable amount of muscle, but its pulled so tight, it looks horrible.

I used to be able to curl my bodyweight
Is this possible:confused:
