I am Confused About the Strength Size Ratio in BB

Yes it is. I've seen some guys that look like they couldn't lift much at all, outlift huge muscular guys. Under tension, your connective tissue will not respond if the load is too heavy. This is your body's way to protect itself from injury. Something about the golgi tendon apparatus. Care to expand 2 thick.

You are correct about the body's tendency to protect itself.

Tendon strength is mostly natural (b/c of tendon placement) but it can be built up using specific exercises. I did a quick search and found a great set of tendon strengthening exercises on an arm wrestling web site. http://www.pinarm.com/CompetitiveArmwrestling/exercises/exercises.htm

As you know, muscles are only as strong as their anchors...the tendons. When the tendons are strong, the muscles are automatically more powerful when they contract.

I've always had a shitty strength to size ratio (poor strength). I tend to gain strength very slowly but don't really mind. It's genetics.

Currently I shouldn't even be talking about size as I'm small and soft. A long break from lifting and a horrible diet are murder to some people.

Whatever. What the heck do you need strength for these days? Do you need it for your job? Digging ditches or what?

The only thing I could think you could use strength for is showing off at the gym. But who cares about showing off for dudes when you can show off for chicks with size.

Are you tell your wife that you like the couch where it is. And since that you are bigger than her that is where it is staying. And then prepare fro a day or two of abstinence until she gets over it.
