I am Confused About the Strength Size Ratio in BB

I don't get it I see dudes with huge arms lifting less weight than me on db curls, lateral raises and upright rows but they do alot more than me on bench. But how the heck did they get such big biceps and shoulders doing with not doing weights in relative to there size? Oh btw I am not small or weak but these dudes are a good 70 to 80 lbs heavier then me.

size and strength, although related are two different issues.

Time Under Tension is the key...and drugs

Are you talking about the slowness of the rep or what?

Because all I care about is size(strength is a cool byproduct but mainly I want size and definition) is there a way to get bigger without all this dang heavy weight I am lifting?

GENETICS

I see people who never work their legs, do 20 sets of dumbell curls with 15 pound dumbells from all "angles". Do cable crossovers, looking lean and large.

Oh yea and sustanon

Well...in a way.

Science thinks that size is best achieved in a time uner tension interval of 40-60 seconds per set.

so...the old maxin of 8-12 reps for size may have merit.

BUT...everyone should do at LEAST one strength phase per year, and two is better.

315 for 10 on squats will build big legs, but a strength phase that would allow you to bump that to 365 for 10 will be even better

This is what I pretty much do year around should I change that up and do lighter weight higher reps(18 to 20 reps)and lower reps and heavier weight(4 to 6 reps)

yep, I guess I would be comsidered pretty strong, at one time could rep 405 for 4-5 reps on bench, but Im not all puffed out and cut thats for sure
