For me.... I know that i still have some more work to do.... my working out habbits are pretty solid (for the most part) but my eating habbits suck.

i can't seem to get my diet right at all... I just made a thread about it acually. I have been lifting for about a year now and it's rly starting to cath up with me.

I feel ya man.... thats why i started this poll actually becuase i know that i cant't be the only one struggeling with the diet part. A buddy of mine said it took him about two years to get his diet the way he wanted it.

I am hoping to run into someone at my gym to train with and to interact with out side of the gym because part of me thinks that i need a trainer or someone to influence me and give me constructive critisism.

I am at the point to where i only have like 5 bounds in my stomach that i want to loose, maybe even 3, but know matter how much cardio i do I just wont loose it and i will need to get a really strict diet if i want to obtain the shreaded 6 pack I've always wanted.

i knoiw exacly what your talking about there. I have also been thinking about getting a personal trainer or a nutritionist.

You can read all the diet information in books and online for days. Until you've experimented you don't know what works for you

This is very true. My thing is consitancy. I am pretty confident that i have enough information to diet successfully, but it takes deddication and self disapline inorder to do this which i and many others lack.

i worked with a nationally renowned strength coach (he was just blowing up when i worked with him for 3 and 1/2 years and his team). during this period i learned the most about myself and my training abilities. this combined with 18 years of personal gym experience. my training protocols have since developed further. i would say training wise i know more than enough to be successful but can ALWAYS learn more.

diet wise i have been dieting since 1997. from 97 till 2000 it was an 8 month diet and 4 month "bulker" bullshit. during this period i learned nothing but how to diet extreme with no health benefits. i was able to get shredded from 98 till 2000 though. since april 2000 i have been hardcore dieting year round. the first year was trial and error. then 2 years of just trying new things. now i know what i can and cant do. this winter i plan on trying something new for a lean bulk. always trying new things is key but eventually you narrow these new things to areas you have experience being successful in. with all the info on the net the guess work is removed and you are really guided where you need to go.
