Hi girls!

I'm having this doubt, some people say that a woman should reduce training intensity during her period... some others say that you should continue to train the same.

What would be the best approach in order to get a great workout and don't risk for overtraining and recovery??

Should we have a different approach towards recovery during our period?
 
I think it is best to train through your period. Sometimes my energy is up when I am on and sometimes down. I listen to my body if it feels like I really need rest cause of it I do. Most of the time training only helps for me my periods are ligher and cramps are not as bad when I am training.
 
I haven'thad my . in awhile, but when I did, I trained through it. I have never been 1 to have bad cramps or anything like that.
 
why would you have to train differently? I have never gotten really bad sides from my period so maybe that is why but I dont do anything different... never had...
 
I've trained my way thru periods for more than 20 yrs - never changed anything about my training because of that. Sometimes I've just felt shitty and adjusted my training accordingly. Other times, training has helped alleviate discomfort from bloating or whatever and also helped immensely w/ the moodiness that often accompanies that time of the month.
