I am a 21 year old male needing to lose about 40 pounds of BF what diet is best? for this I jog a mile 3 times a week and do core secrets which I love and I am also taking phentermine which I also love it helps me control what I put in my mouth.......... any help would be awsome thanks Dustin :)
 
I think his diet would work fine. There are so many though. The basics are just you need to find out what your TDEE is. You can find a site for this easy online. Then you need to find out how much your eating. You might be eating too much below it and have killed your matabolism. Either way you should be about 500 calories below that when cutting, or what's even better is just to drop it about 20 - 25%. Eat clean, cardio, and you didn't mention weight training which you should add and you should be on your way. It takes time so be patient. Don't be too hard on yourself if you cheat, cheating is good as long as it's in moderation like 1 or 2 meals a week. Also, if you drink that should pretty much be cut down a lot too. Good luck.

thanks for the reply but what does eat clean meen?
 
Clean, so no fast food, no junk food, pretty much kiss eating out goodbye. You need to get good sources of protein like eggs, chicken, and beef; stay away from soy. Good carbs like, veggies, beans, oatmeal, fruit, whole grains. Good fat like all natural peanut butter (not the normal stuff), flax seed oil, omega3s (fish fat), and olive oil.

That's a very general guideline to eating clean.
 
ya you need to do alot more research here before starting to beg for help. I came here 80 lbs over weight and read read and read. You must read your information. Read ebooks, read people diet posts. Do some research it will help you out, i know why eating sugar is bad and what it affects so therefore i dont touch the stuff, Information like that that you learn will have a great effect on slipping up and falling off diet.
