I have a yacht which I am remodeling. It was named "over forty too" by a prior owner, but I HATE that name. The name means that the boat is over 40 feet and the owner is over forty, also. Very stupid, old-fart name for a very sexy boat. My fiance is thinking of "trophy wife" as a tribute to me. Any suggestions would be appreciated. :qt:

I can't decide between "Nautical Queen" or "Sea Princess", so just shorten it to "Nau-Sea".

Bro from my experience.the Gulf Coast is the 'white trashiest' Ft Myers is a prime example.....I live in a small town just west of Tally....it's Crackerville here.....

Yes, the ENTIRE gulf coast is horrendous, from P-Cola to Naples. Even the newr parts where retirees have built their larger homes are still the very absence of class and taste.

At least Panama City used to revel in it.

Palm Beach is the only tolerable part of FL.

Good question, Dullboy. While normally a boat over 40 feet that is used for pleasure is called a yacht, I actually rarely call it that. When I ask for services from outside vendors, and tell them I need whatever so-and-so for my boat, they ask what kind of boat and admonish me that it isn't a boat, it's a yacht. Really it's just a name. Yacht = > 40' boat. It doesnt mean much to boaters. It is like differentiating it from a cruiser, or trawler, or whatever.

Anyway, at the risk of you being angry at me again, I have more than one boat. I have a little beat up Bayliner that I use fish and whatever. So, sometimes I call the little one boat and the big one yacht, so my fiance knows which one I'm referring to.
I don't have a stuck up or pretentious bone in my body. You don't really know that, so you made some quick assumptions. No biggie.

And yes, I know what it is like to not know where the rent is coming from. I grew up very poor and often didn't have food to eat at night. I worked my way through school and graduate school and got scholarships. I was not coming in here with any ill intent. Most people think boat names are fun to think up. If you hated me or the conversation, you could have put me on ignore instead of enlisting friends to call me fat white trash.
