That is you guys choice. I have been dealin with it for a few years and was seeking relief not treatment. That is where I put more emphasis. It did not put me out financially so it was the right choice for me.

well, yah...these are our opinions / choices / suggestions ... but if you didn't want to hear them, you wouldn't have posted this up in the first place :)

Yeah word, I was like that too.... I was totally OBSESSED on it too, couldn't think of anything else for some reason..... If i had some gyno now, I don't think I'd care as much cause I'm older, but back then it was crazy.... I had to get the surgery done.... I didn't have a drain vest, mine was a compression vest, and I wore it for 3 days only..... I didn't need drainage stuff for whatever reason..... My vest was more for keeping the area tight, and allowing it time to "Gel" back..... Something like that anyways???

I was not asking about your choices or suggestions when it comes to this topic. I posted this to provide testimony concerning gyno and its removal. It is bad couth for one to be advesarial through a computer. It seems like you are tryin to create a debate where it is not neccessary. Your suggestion that I want your opinion is a weak exercise in attempting to flatter yourself. I still do not understand why you have a negative reaction over someone else's
personal decision but I guess that takes the focus away your own insecure ego. Glad I could provide you with some relief.

i had gallbladder surgery last year. they told me i'd be out of the gym for 4 weeks. go in and get checked in a week or two, they might clear you to start lifiting earlier. i was given the ok cause i healed pretty well be 2 weeks. 4 weeks is just an estimate. i was on deca during the surgery and i wonder if it helped me heal but good luck.

WHOAH!! I'm not sure where this is coming from...none of my posts in here were intended to be "adversarial"! I've never been adversarial on here with anyone nor was I trying to be with you.... if you checked, there are other people on here that gave their opinions, some the same as mine (Heck, even Macro chimed in with the same question as me!) ... there are countless other threads on EF in which people post their opinions whether they were asked for or not... it's part of what this forum is all about.... I didn't have a negative reaction to your personal decision, I wasn't malicious, nor was I stirring a debate - if surgery worked for you, great! and it's great information for others as well - I had just as much right to post my opinion which simply stated what my personal decision would have been.... NOT an attack on yours - read my post again Sorry you took it the wrong way.... and I have to say, your comment about my "insecure ego".... very uncool and uncalled for - good luck with your recovery

No hard feelings. I like this forum and have not ever engaged in an arguement here. I was not the only person that interpreted your post that way. This is evidenced by the amount of pm's and karma I recieved about my last post.

what is the difference between a drainage vest and a compression vest?

I am guessing the drainage vest is a compresson vest with holes for the tubes.

I didnt need tubes so I just had the comp vest. He said it would help keep shape and lessen scar tissue.
