As for the race....well I sucked lol....4th in my division 1:15 min.....which is way slower then normal...but hey no training last week and having a sinus infection for almost a month....Im happy with it...Next year better time!!! It was 32 degrees and snowed part of it...which I love to see but damn it was cold....

Looks like a good plan training wise.

Just my 2 cents but I would increase the protien to be at least 1g of per lb.

Not necessarily....it depends on the context, hence the question.

Speed is a component.

Lifting on a 2-0-4 tempo strictly doesnt mean it's a "strength" phase unless total reps or %max intensity is considered.


Speed reps for 3 sets wont do a lot in terms of activating the CNS to improve power. Workload isnt high enough
 
What I was thinking was power in a running sense is speed. When you try to develop more speed in running, you focus on power movements - plyos, sprints, etc.

But I am also very tired today, lol.

No...thats exactly it.

Are we looking a increasing sprint/running power or overall body power??

Another thing to consider are the 2.5 and 5% differentials etc.

break up the longer distances into shorter sprints. but i think she knows this. if i see you with a parachute, running, i'm shooting you with paintballs....
