Greg Kovacs at the Arnold...wtf?

Definitely not pretty. What's even sadder is that if I'm not mistaken Chad Nichols was working with him to get him ready for this show. Doesn't look good for him either. I would have told him that sorry I just don't think even I'm going to be able to help you. But, I guess you can't pass up the money?

Damn thats nasty..you think someone in his camp would have the balls to say dude skip the show it aint worth it..fucking sick!!!!

If your going to make it your living then you take chances...but you should also be informed and in tune to your body. Obviously he has done too much for too long and has paid the ultimate price. He should be smart about it and get out now. It's not like he can ever form his body back into a winning physique.

Nelson was right it never got better than the best from 20-50 years ago. Reeves, Arnold, Park, Zane, Lou, Scott, Olivia, even Haney... those are guys you could have looked up to. It's gotten out of hand. I feel bad for Kovacs, and Coleman too. It's just gone too far, and it can never go back. The 'sport' at least on the pro level will probably die out one day soon. It's sad really...

It won't die though...cuz there are too many kids (like we were) who look up to these cartoon looking heros. The pro's today are just as unatainable (for most of us) as the pros were when we we kids...I mean really who here that idolized Arnold ever got as big as him? Same dream...different drugs. Now it's more dangerous for everybody, especially if you are ill informed.

I'm sorry, but if he looks gross. I'm going to get into trouble for this, butmost (nearly all) of the pros these days look like shit. They don't even look human with those distended guts and the dark tans. I'm not knocking their work ethic, and they are truly gifted, but there is a point that each and every one of them got to where they should've stopped trying to grow even bigger.

I will agree with you there. I was working a booth at the expo then went to the night show, all excited... I was 5 rows from the stage and I have to say the same thing - WTF?!? Alot of the guys had *ucked up physiques, it really was sad. The GH thing is really way out of hand, God when some of them turned around - their guts were HUGE! Dexter Jackson truly looked amazing and I really wished he would have won. Markus Ruhl also looked like he had injected into his Lat and it was all infected looking - he posed to hide it. What a shame. Poor Jay Cutler looked flat - i heard he looked even flatter at the pre-judging.

Well, at least Cirque De'Soleil (spelled correct?) at intermission was really cool - LOL. It was a good time anyway.

I think it will die out. This trend can't go on forever. There's nowhere else to go. Now it's a 5'11 280 man on stage, it can't get to the point where there are 5'11 350lb guys on stage. These guys are droping like flys. Kidney problems galore along with other health problems. It just can't go on. Coleman will probably kick the bucket within the next 5-10 years.

And I don't think it could ever go back. You can't go from seeing guys like Coleman and Cutler back to guys like Arnold. People don't want to see that anymore. The hard core 'fans' want to see the freaks. It can't go further, it can't go back. It's just depressing when you consider in the 70's and 80's bodybuilding was everywhere. Lee Haney had a workout program! Contests were shown on ESPN on a daily basis. Now you get the Olympia on Pay Per View, and it's held in a friggen' casino. Thats a joke, it's now no better than pro wrestling. Before being a Mr. Universe or Olympia meant something, now it's no better (maybe worse) than being the WWE Champ of the week.
