Gluceroll and Low Carbs

If Iam on a cycle that consists of high protein, low carbs and the only carbs Iam eating are from vegies, fruit and protein shakes, should I still take Gluceroll and if so, how often? Or, is it only designed to take with complex carbs like oats, br rice......

My answer is yes take it. If you feel that you are going hypo either add in a carb or cut back on the dose. It is a great supp & more than just a carb aid.

If I recall, the guidance is 1 pill per 30 g carb? If your "low carb" day is supposed to go to 0-30 g -- then I'd probably not include it on that day -- if you feel you are going hypo, then adding a carb would defeat the purpose of the carb cycle. Other days I'd say yes. There are also other good anti-ox's that you can include to get that benefit -- grape seed extract for ex.

My comment on adding in a carb would be to get thru that hypo moment (if she even has one) and make a note that maybe the next time, skip the glucorell.

Yep -- but if its a scheduled low carb day & it is known how much carb will be consumed, no reason to even go there.

sorry to butt in, but...why fruit? if you're dieting and trying to maintain low carbs, why fruit?

I need some eduma-cation, please. :)

Its Really Only Fruit Once A Day- Grapefruit With Breakfast. The Rest Of The Day Is Really Protein Shakes, Chix, Fish, Turkey, Lean Meats. Veggies, Flax.. I Get 2 High Carb Meals A Week Consisting Of Oats, Yams, Banana..

Its The Diet From Beverley International That Iam Trying. So, Everyday For The Next 4-5 Weeks Will Be The Same, So Should I Still Do The Gluceroll???

If you are eating more than 30 g of complex carb in one sitting then yes. 1 glucorell per 30 g - 50 g of complex carb.
