Getting closer!

I am only doing a 1 week deload. If I can;t recover then I suck and I am not in shape. I will probably use 385+green or purple bands. that was my original plan - which may change. I squatted today and just sucked, plain old fucking sucked. I might have to do a 2 week deload -- db, irishpower, anyone -- what do you think??
 
sorry... i can't be much help. i am just now learning that i am supposed to be deloading. billy mimnaugh recommended it to me.

in the past, i have just gone as heavy as possible and only taken a break when my hips hurt really bad. i think now that the weight is starting to get up there, i am not getting away with this anymore.

at least let yourself deload for 1 week before the meet.
 
i am doing a 2 week deload. I took a weight last friday and got 495 plus blues and purples. i was taking it out of a monolift for the first time, and with the longer bar it was different, but ill get used to it.
 
1-Dawg trie dropping the weight 20-30 pounds and deload for 1 week that way you still get your circamax in. circa max won't be to fast -hard and steady is good.
