Feeling very flat, need carb up advice

Nothing like carb depleting, then the night before hitting the beach.. eating 600g carbs, and a little red wine… you look AMAZING the next day… it’s great… :)

Hehe, I do the same thing except I add in some dandelion root the day before and of, and also increase my AIFM dose and dry right up while the carbs are filling out!

Lately though, I have felt like a 75 year old castrated man.... meaning I have been very flat and smooth looking because my carbs have been to low. When i was using 600mg test ew I could keep my carbs low and never flatten out but at only 200mg a week I need the carbs :p

well then i must be a 2-3 day guy. then whats the point of the carb depleting if your not going into ketosis? just to make sure your burning fat during cardio?

it doesnt work if i've been eating carbs, only when i've been depleting a few days then hit the pasta. should this just be cycled over and over?
Why are you so hung up on ketosis? I don't know a single person who is a competitive bb'er or from what I know about how pro's diet who ever try to get into ketosis. It doesn't mean a damn thing except you will be flat and weak. When you carb cycle you will flatten out and then fill it back up. This will help you hold mass and strength as you diet. Ketosis is played out with the atkins diet. When I carb depleted for my last show I only dropped to 100g's of carbs for 4 days and then went up to 900g's of carbs on Thursday and Friday. This all or nothing ketosis shit is a joke.

what the hell are you angry at and who's hung up on ketosis? i'm asking seriously what is the point of carb depleting? how does it help you hold mass & strength? i've never really had to diet until recently so i wanna know

Carb depleting still serves it's purpose without you having to get into ketosis. It works through the same mechanisms. When you carb deplete your body will rely more on bodyfat as an energy reserve, when you start to go flat you fill back out to help hold muscle. If you just stay flat you will continually get weaker and flatter which means you are obvioiusly sacrificing muscle tissue. When you fill the muscle back up your strength will increase as will the amount of hardness and vascularity. I'm sorry if I came across as pissed off, it wasn't my intention. I was just trying to drive the point home. I could write about more 9 pages on this but I wont' because I'm even starting to bore myself.

LOL got it, that explains the 2-3 day deplete then 1 day load...thanks
It depends on the individual, how much muscle they are carrying, if they are carb sensitive etc. I have everyone that I work with cycle their carbs. It works very well for most.

I just like to look dry and add that extra pop when hittin' up a beach party... what's the harm in that?

It's all good bro, you just have to realize that the average person can't tell a difference. Look at what the average american looks like in terms of body, you don't need to do anything different to stand out amongst them. It's just a lot of trouble to look 5% better for people who think anything under 15% looks great.
