I just don't seem to give a crap and have been eating cereal lol out of the box :worried: not good I guess it could be worse...time to put the brakes on this am and get back on track

I find it comforting to eat comfort foods when sick.....like chix noodle soup, toast + jelly and Mac N Cheese.....YUM!

Exact opposite. I find getting sick gets me back on track. I actually eat better. When I got my stomach virus, it literally "cleaned" me out (TMI, I know). I made clean soups, and the smell of anything greasy or something tooheavy made me nauseous (sp?). Anyway, I got over it 2 weeks ago, and I still don't want anything too bad.

I wish it did that for me lol...been doiong really well lost 10 pounds this last month and almost to my goal and then I think I set myself up not to get there some times....but I am sick and only certian things sound good tried to eat tuna yesterday and gaged

When I feel crappy all I want is carbs, carbs and MORE CARBS! Crackers, bread, mashed potatoes, chips, ramen noodles.....anything carbs......I know what cha' mean! Hope you feel better soon!:)

Depends on what the "sick" is. If its a stomach thingy, I'm probably happy if I remember to drink water. Nothing else even sounds good. If I'm just feeling shitty, I'm probably either sleeping or bored. When I'm bored, I start munching.

What Jens said. Might help to take your 'good food' and turn it into comfort food, even if it adds a few calories. Like say, tuna casserole, chicken soup (easy - chix breast, bit of Oxo, some veggies, and a carb) or whatever your 'comfort food' is. Soups tend to be lower in calories than 'solid food', especially if you stay to broth based soups. That said, don't stint your body on what it needs to get better! If you're craving - there's something in that 'stuff' that is a need!

Get well soon, and in the meantime, enjoy :chomp: !

LOL and ginger ale! I hated, HATED it but once after a huge  session for seriously NO REASON, I drank that and I was cured LOL. I mean heaving up nothing that was in my stomach ... even sucking on ice chips made it worse. The mom pops the G-Ale and I was sooooo much better. A(wo)men to ginger ;)

Other than feeling like complete & utter crap, the day I can couch it, eat ramen, 1-2 packs of Crackers and tons of G ale ... TV, blinds closed, TV on, but dozing in & out ... OMG I need a day off if I'm wanting to be sick to avoid being here .... :worried:

After working dive boats for nearly 5 years and seeing people yak over the side of the boat, into other people's gear bags on the boat, and even underwater from seasickness (and God knows, the thing that willl make more people sick is watching someone else get sick), I ALWAYS have some ginger root w/ me -- works hours faster than stuff like Dramamine or Triptone for seasickness and settles your stomach from any of the weird stuff we do to ourselves in the name of fitness.
