Difference b/t cheating meals or binge drinking

so heres my question to all..

say you were to do this...

eat clean all day...veggies and lean protein, and then that night have vodka drinks say 10 shots with diet coke. (2oolb man)

eat burger king, then that night have ice cream with pasta, cookies etc.

What is the real differnce between the two in everyones mind?

thanks for some input on this quesiton

OK - first, compare apples with apples.

Suppose you get ur daily allowance of clean cals, and then cheat, one cheat - 1500 cal alcohol cheat; or the other 1500 junk food cheat.

So what's the difference?

Advantages of food cheat:
(1) if ur carb depleted - often when dieting - a carb cheat, icecream, pasta etc may actually help recover glycogen and fuel the next days workouts;
(2) to a lesser extent, a fatty cheat, at least spares glycogen and will mean u have more glycogen/fuel for next days workout
(3) there may be some leptin recovery (anti-starvation hormone) for a food cheat, although evidence on this is pretty slight to this my jsut be a bodybuilding myth.

Disadvantages of alcohol binge:
(1) inhibits muscle recovery (by interfering with carb/protein metabolism), dehydrates u and makes u sore next day
(2) increases estrogen, decreases tesosterone.
(3) encourages further eating of fatty food, both on that night and the next day
(4) makes it harder to have energy/train next day.

SO overall - I think we have a winner. The pasta cheat!

It's a shame - I would love the alcohol cheat to be the winner, but its not

that makes no sence at all to me. why train and eat right all day working towards a goal only to do the complete opposite that night. that night of garbage will hurt you for the whole next day maybe longer. body building is one of those things where if you dont give it your 100% you will not get verry far.

its a cheat im talkin about...its just a hypothetical....

of course i realize all the things you just said...

if you had to choose one what would you choose and why is the question...

ive heard that it takes the body 2-3 days to make the food u eat to eiather fat or to energy...is that true?

its different for every one. your metabolism is what causes the difference. usually 1 day or less.

so if i have a cheat day when im cutting, or bulikng.then the next day go under my daily need whit about...lets say 500 cals.

maybe that cheat wont become fat or energy?

the end result will be muscle loss

I'd definitely go for the alcohol cheat.

Lets look at the positives:
--Increases blood flow, delivering nutrients to your muscle
--Dries you out if you're retaining
--Gets you fuuucked up
