Since i am training three days a week now i am doing a full body de day as part of my split, note I had a 2 1/2 hour practice outdoors in 100 plus degree heat an hour prior to this workout....no excuses, winners don't have to blame anything or anyone


here is how it went today;

bench press throws on the smith machine
8x3 at 135

hang power snatch
5 x 5 at 185

one handed bb powersnatch
95 x 3
115 x 3
135 x 3

Box Squats:
8x3 at 225 plus light bands

free standing gm's
3x8 at 315
 
The one-handed barbell power snatch is very impressive!

You're right - winners don't need excuses. Looks like you're going to make some mess on the field.
 
if you haven't tried them I def. recommend....they are great for core, balance, shoulder stability, and of course explosiveness
 
Sounds dangerous to me for the cuffs etc... :alien:

Even Chad Ikei mentioned this in his clip in my vert thread :)

The heat has got to be tough IL... way to press on though...

it looks like he was about to do a 1-handed snatch with that loaded barbell... wish I could see that.

I saw him do one of those in person. It is quite a sigh to see. Chad is an awesome coach, and he puts on great seminars. If anyone is interested in oly lifting, his seminar is a must see.
