Critique my diet...

I'm 26, 6'2" 225 and around 18-20% bodyfat. My goal is to get down to 10-12% bf. I've been fooling around w/ ketogenic diets for a few months now, but got really serious about it 3 weeks ago. In my first week I lost 10lbs...since then I'm at pretty much a stalemate and was hoping you guys could help me out a bit. I have a bf scale...not sure how accurate it is, but it hasn't really budged either. I'm following a HST workout program and taking an ECA stack 3 times daily. On to the diet...

On an average day I eat:

1.25lbs 7% Ground Turkey
4 large eggs (2 w/ whites only)
2 tbsp ANPB
2 ON protein shakes (mixed w/ water)
1/2 Cucumber
Celery
1tbsp spinach dip
1 tortilla (3 net carbs)

I think that's about it...I'm working on getting that spread out a little better, but usually eat 3 main meals and use the ANPB, celery, and protein shakes as smaller meals.

Any help, suggestions, or questions welcomed...Thanks!

I was just thinking some more...and you can probably add a handful of mixed nuts, some olive oil (for cooking), and 1oz of cheddar cheese to my daily diet.

dude, u have to eat more than that. That is crazy, especially for your size you need more than that just to maintain. I weigh 145 and i guarentee that i need more than that just to maintain. When you starve your body you lose more muscle that anything because your body thinks its starving. How many calories does this work out to be a day?

I know many guys that take in that many calories IN THEIR FIRST MEAL....cmon bro....you are 225, not 130.

Didn't expect that answer...could it be that my metabolism is just slower than most peoples? I swear I've never eaten as much as my friends, but always weighed a lot more.

Can I keep the same foods involved and just eat more of them?

probably because you've never eaten enough and your metabolism has adjusted. Just pick up the cals and then ur metabolism will adjust.

Ok - here are my caloric calculations...

Turkey - 800 Cal
Eggs - 186
ANPB - 220
Shakes - 240
Nuts - 160
Tortilla - 50
Cheese - 120
Spinach Dip - 100

That totals 1876 calories a day. I'd say I probably get closer to 2000 by adding either more nuts or PB.

How many should I be aiming for and where should I add them?

Thanks.

I cant believe that you are 225...........just no way bro...........My girlfriend EASILY eats 2,000 cals a day and she's 5'5, 105lbs....no joke...............

Well - I was 235 until about 3 weeks ago...so apparently it is possible. How can I get my metabolism in gear? Just start eating more?
