Whatup...need maybe a bit of help/critiquing. everything is going well, although maybe im not seeing the rapid change i want now..i guess psychologically i dont see it, but others do.
Im 33yrs old...5'7 about 175 right now, i'd say under 15% bf...100% natural thus far...was roughly 220 at the end of december..so lost about 45 pounds thus far in about 4-5 months, committing to my diet and cardio, as well as pretty hardcore at the gym..
cardio right now, as has been is just a caloric deficit..
meals have been about every 3 hours starting around 9am-12pm-3pm-5pm-8pm....none of my meals have been larger than 600-700 calories...im averaging 1500-1800 calories/day...
diet right now looks like...
Breakfast:
2 scoops of oatmeal (or 1 banana&1scoop oatmeal)
=200 cals
Snack:
2 whole eggs
=140 cals
Lunch:
Canned Black Beans(Low Sodium)& Bag Brown Rice
1 cup Salsa
=700 cals
Snack:
2scoops Whey Protein & Lowfat Milk
=250 cals
Dinner:
Chicken Breast/eggs/fish
1 apple
=300 cals
roughly 1600 cals
obviously this isnt the same meal for me every single day as i switch it up not to get bored, but thats a pretty basic meal for me daily... i very rarely cheat on a meal.. havent in weeks.
have drank a gallon of water everyday for the past few months.
cardio has progressed very well. up to jogging 3 miles, 3 days/wk...and hit the weight on the 3 opposite days during the wk.
weight has come off everywhere except fully on midsection, especially the obliques. hoping this is the last of the area to go. i guess my question is, should i switch it up some or keep doing what im doing? ive really wanted to try and take a fat burner to aid in the process to start seeing some vascularity, and more definition but i felt cracked out on it (hydroxycut) and was honestly worried about my heart cause it kept beating so rapidly and felt so unnatural. is the definition/vascularity going to come in time? guess i just need a confidence booster and a route to go here.. would absolutely love to compete one day, maybe end of this yr in the 160+ range...
thoughts?
