Criticism Please!!!

Welcome, anytime just make sure when you read them that you do read them carefully and don't think that by throwing in another excercise and taking you another 10 minutes to workout is going to help any.

So, if I'm going Westside, I'm supposed to max out every week on the squat and the bench? Also, I want to incorporate the snatch and clean and jerk, what days should I do this if I'm following Westside's routine?

I agree that you should use westside's system. It's not guaranteed to be suited to you, however, so you'll have to make alot of observations. Do your olympic lifts on the speed dlift and speed squat days. Go light with the olifts...if you don't you'll put too much stress on the nervous system as well as your rotator cuffs while on the westside program.

I do olympic lifts myself just the clean&jerk though for the clean i do them on ME squat day I do 5 sets of 5 about 70% of 1RM now I'm not sure if this is the right percent I should be using but I figure since it is a ME day this would be good and for the jerk I do those on ME bench day which is my shoulder workout either push press, military press, etc.

I want to compete, and I know those are competition lifts for some meets. Also, I've heard that olympic lifts are great strength builders. But, my main goals are the bench, dead lift, and squat. If Olympic lifts will affect these lifts in any way, I won't do them.
