Cardio levels on CKD

I`m on The CKD and Do cardio 6 days/week. What intensity levels should they be done with? And when you say "moderate" or "high" what does that mean? Max heaert rate - or + what?

This is what I do now Monday 30minutes after WO
Tuesday 30 minutes after WO
Wednesday 1hour (in evening)
Thursday 1 hour (evening)
Friday 45 minutes (evening)
Saturday No cardio just circuit training
Sunday 30 minute + circuit training Then immediately CARB-UP

So at 218 pounds and age 34 how can I do the "intensity" on the cardio?

I would suggest you keep your intensity low, around 60% of MHR (max heart rate). Moderate is about 60-70, high would be about 75-85. I would say, for most, 70%MHR is already high intensity, so it does matter what condition you're in.

Damn, I better slow down I was doing alot more. but those levels are like a walk in the park. Yesterday I did an hour on the recumbant bike and I burned 1200 calories. OK less work for me I guess thanks Mr. X btw I started at 227+ on Monday now I`m 217 on Saturday night.

Thank you VERY MUCH. That was a perfect explanation. I printed it for reference. I am on a NO carb diet now and should not have been doing the 4 and 5 range. After Mr. X advised against it I slowed down but NOW I know WHY.

ALWAYS love to know the details and reasons why. thanks again. btw my bike has those handles that measure heart ratewhen you hold em. it`s right in front of my big screen. lol

Weird.

I do kinda power-walking every morning. Basically walking as fast as I can without breaking into a jog.... but that seems to only get me into 50-60% MHR. It feels quite intense, but doesn't get my heart rate up much.

Moderate running gets me 60-70%, and HIIT running (jog for 100 steps, sprint for 100 steps) gets me to 70-80%....

Ah well, it seems to be working so I shouldn't worry.
