Can't Lift for LONG time.. need help!

Ok, i got hit by a truck while i was bicycling (cardio :) ) and my left shoulder and arm are totally screwed. my arm will heal in about 4 weeks.. but my rotator cuff which was already a little messed up, is REALLY messed up now.. and the dr. said at least 10 weeks before i can even put stress on it.. AND my left femur is cracked.

I guess i might as well diet down since i can't lift or bike... or really do any physical exercise. DAMN!!! What should my percentages be of macronutrients for a non physical person be? I've always had around 60/20/20 c/p/f

any help would be much appreciated. :)

Sorry to hear!

You want to reduce your carb intake, as you wont be needing the energy from glucose. NOT ELIMATE, but just try to get them in earlier in the day.

Try a 40,40,20 split........p,c,f

swimming will put pressure on the cuffs no? I mean, the arms make full motion movement... I would say reduce your carb intake (as JK said) to a maintenance level (the ratios sound good).

try the recumbent bike, that one is really a non-stresser
