Can't decide on what type of diet to do

Im 23, 5'9 235..Go to college full time during the day and work full time 4 to midnight every night. I've done the "low carb" thing in the past and lost weight by doing it, but as soon as I got off of it..I gained it all back. Plus it was hard to stick to.

I got quite a bif of muscle, just need to get rid of the fat arround it...Can someone recommend a good diet that would be easy for me to stick to on a busy schedule.

My goal is to be down to 180 by January

Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Easy ....
Discover and elimate all fast sugar.
White sugar, fructose, flour, excessive fruit, flavorings, sodas ... get rid of it.
Read labels and select the product with the least sugars.
Exchange all this killer junk with colorful veggies and fish/meat/fowl.

The fat and stored water will fall off, especially around the waist.

the lion has some good info, can you cook in your dorm or something? You will need to carry food around, nothing fancy though, chicken breasts and tuna is all you need protein wise... carbs are oats and veggies and the ocassional slice of whole wheat bread, plus your PWO shake.

Fats? easy, flax oil and some nuts

Cutting is all a numbers game man, you NEED to know how many cals to eat per day and stick to them... Food options help you getting there, but even too much of a good thing is bad

Thanks for the info. Im married and my wife is very supportive and packs my dinner for me to take to work. I usually eat a bowl of chex or whole grain wheat cereal with skim milk in the morning before class..and then she has a lunch ready for me when I get home at about 1:30. Usually either tuna/canned chicken breast with boiled egg whites with just a little bit of low fat mayo..with maybe some wheat thins and green beans or corn. Or peppered chicken with salad. Dinner usually is leftover from what we had for lunch and maybe some yogurt or sugar free jello. The only things I drink are water and crystal light.

Is this okay? or should I just stick to stuff that is low sugar / low carb??

I dont have much time to workout, which I know is a big key...I'd just like to lose as much fat around my stomach as possible. That is the only part on my body that has fat. Im completely satisfied with everything else. Well I'd like my face to be thinner also.

any more suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

minimal due to lack of time

We all have time issues. Cardio is a VERY important part of cutting (for most people)

Time would just not appear bro, MAKE room for it. In an ideal situation you would be doing cardio 3x/week for 45 mins... then as you progress and the weight loss stall, you should increase that up to 6x/week.

as I aslways say, cutting is a numbers game, it is all about the caloric deficit. You increase that deficit GREATLY with cardio

okay, I will make sure I get 3 days of cardio in

if you wanna lose fat...just cut out any foods that come in a package!!! in other words..anything processed. stick to the basics. oats, sweet poatatoes, egg whites, whey, skim milk, cottage cheese. eat VERY clean..try it, eat alot of unprocessed food and you'll be surprised.
