Butt problems

Ok, I'm having some trouble with exercises for my butt. I have done squats for quite a while now, hence my butt and thighs have become rather large. But the problem is, I don't want them to be large! I just want my butt to be firm and shapely, but not big. Also I don't want my thighs to be so big. What exercises should I do? I have dropped the squats and now do just lunges.
Also, this may sound weird, but I sort of want my butt cheeks to be 'seperated' as they sort of meet in the middle at the moment.

have you changed sizes in clothes?....weight gain?...what are you doing for legs?
 
gee, i know what you mean :rolleyes:....

you mean when you fail the pencil test right....when it does'nt fall ;)

but seriously, i have issues with this, i find not only weight training the glutes but also tightening the ass cheeks when stationary, reading, whatever, just plain sitting, helps me psychlogically, makes me look better in the mirror and fire me up at the gym. i don't think the glutes are a group that can overworked, certainly not from a female pov. :)

I've tried to get rid of my ghetto booty (which is rock-hard) for my whole life...if there were a way, I would have surely discovered it by now. Best advice I can give ya is learn to love it...guys surely do :) Same for the thighs...if they're hard, so what if they're big? They probably really aren't as big as you think. Women don't have the hormones to get really big, so as long as you're going au-naturale, you shouldn't get massive.

At least you have an ass, there are many females who don't have one...and when then wear low-rise jeans they look hideous...I personally like my big butt.
